Overview

Database Administrators (DBAs) are responsible for the design, implementation, support and maintenance of computerized databases in today’s organizations. The role also includes architecting, building and scaling databases for future data growth and capacity. They are also responsible for security, performance and availability of data to users and customers.

All the above tasks are performed with the help of a Database Management System (DBMS) and the leading and most widely used DBMS’ across the world today are Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL etc. Out of these DBMS technologies, Oracle Database is the most popular and widely used database in the world today.

Oracle DBA course material is very well prepared and organized. Lab practices and home works are very well timed with the topics covered during the training sessions. Most importantly, the experienced, knowledgeable and professional instructor (Srini) is excellent in teaching, training and preparing the students to achieve their future career goals in the database field. If needed, the instructor also goes beyond the training schedule to cover the material. I not only recommend the course, but also strongly recommend any courses that are offered by this instructor. And I have already registered myself for the next course (“Oracle RAC, ASM and DG”) offered by the same instructor.

    ################################

I have taken the course “Oracle RAC, ASM and DG” at the DBA University. It’s an excellent course tought by experienced, knowledgeable and professional instructor (Srini Ramineni). 25% of training on lab machine and remaining will be on student’s PCs so that it helps student to continue to practice even after the course is completed. I also strongly recommend this course and any other courses offered by this instructor.

Oracle DBA training is an excellent course to get your head around the key concepts of Oracle 11G and 12c. Srini does an excellent job explaining and teaching by real-world examples. Coming from a SQL Server background he was able to explain the similarities and differences to help me understand Oracle perfectly. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to learn Oracle and definitely sign up for the second part which is on ASM, RAC and Data Guard. I have signed up and am looking forward to it.

It was a nice experience for me taking oracle DBA online training from dba university. The study material is well prepared and very clear for a beginner to follow .I really like the teaching style of our experienced instructor (Srini Ramineni) and his quick response for every student. The class is mix of theory and lab practice which makes learning more interesting. From my point of view this course is better than class room training .So i highly recommend this course .

I really enjoyed this training class. Had little knowledge about rdbms, but Srini explained every step in his dba training materials and made sure ever student understood the concept and real world application.

Very satisfied with the knowledge I gained from this training.

It was a big experience for me taking this online course whith really white board ,Srini is a very good teacher who have a big understanding of the subject 9Oracle dba). I will take more course with Dba University…Highly recommended for everyone ….And the price is reasonable…

  7. 5

Last month I finished the Oracle DBA Training and it was a great course. Srini Ramineni has a lot of experience in the industry and he explains really well. For me this course was complementary because I have experience as an Oracle DBA and I took the official course “Workshop I” by Oracle University, but there are many topics where they used GUI (Enterprise Manager) however the method used in Oracle DBA Training by DBA University is different because they work with command line (sql plus) and most of the companies required these skills.

  8. 5

I attended Core DBA training online from DBA University. I really like Srini Ramineni teaching fashion which easily makes his student involve into the subject because his way of delivering topics are really impressing. He brings real time challenging topics that he has experienced in his career and explain it in a sweet way which give me confident to build my carrier as an Oracle DBA. LAB facility is full day during the weekend and 5 hours during week days. I always wanted to be a part of a game not to just watch a game and I achieved same in “DBA University”.

  9. 5

I have recently finished Oracle DBA, RAC, ASM and Data Guard from DBA University. Srini is a very well experienced teacher who has lots of hands on industry experience. He explains each and every topic very well and makes learning really easy for you. You don’t really want to miss any moment of his class. He is a wonderful teacher. I am looking forward to join his Hadoop Class also.

  10. 5

I completed several courses with DBA University with Srini Raminini. Srini is a very knowledgeable professional instructor who delivered the classes in an easy going and interactive manner. The classes are very well documented and are up to date. The training environment is fabulous. Its like being there, but from wherever you want. I had to go on a trip to Dominican Republic during the course and could take classes online without any problems. The best setup for your station will be 2 monitors ( laptop and monitor ) and a wired connection. It will make the training very effective as you can look on the blackboard on one screen and have your lab machine on the other screen. The price is very reasonable as well. It’s impossible to find Oracle classes anywhere for this price while the teaching quality is so high. I am looking forward taking a few more courses with DBAUniversity and would recommend this place to everybody who wants to upgrade their knowledge in DBA field.
